Heather Drane

I am a middle school educator with 21 years of experience in the classroom, a Master’s degree in Education, and certification as a Reading Specialist. I currently teach 8th grade English at AG Wright Middle School, where I focus on building strong literacy skills and helping students grow as confident readers and writers. I previously served as a member organizer for the Spotsylvania Education Association before transferring to Stafford County during the 2023–2024 school year. I am passionate about advocating for the professional treatment of teachers, protecting students’ intellectual freedom, and working toward a collective bargaining agreement in Stafford.
