The SEA was there for me when I was falsely accused of inappropriate conduct. They stuck by my side and helped me to resolve the matter favorably. I encourage every educator to join.

SEA gives educators a voice and actively advocates for us. A lone person's voice is easy to ignore, but the COLLECTIVE voice SEA gives us can move mountains!

Collective bargaining will begin in May of 2021. Like the hit Broadway show Hamilton said, you want to be in the room where it happens!

Robin Gardner AND THE SEA made sure I still had a job when a particular individual decided to treat me unfairly due to personal bias and unfounded issues.

I had some serious medical issues and if wasn’t for Robin Gardner and my principal I wouldn’t still be a teacher in SCPS. I would have been fired as one member of the school administration didn’t like that I got sick on a daily basis. I would recommend that every teacher be a part of the sea because you never know when you’ll need someone to fight for you and protect you.

Robin made me realize I shouldn't have put off reaching out and learning more about SEA for so long. Things were just so busy and still are - I just didn't know and wish I had someone in my corner from day 1.
