Summer Krebbs

Summer is a dedicated educator and passionate advocate who has spent the past nine years championing student success across Stafford and neighboring counties. With a strong foundation as a special education teacher at both the elementary and high school levels, she currently serves as the Behavior Analyst at Heather Empfield Day School. This diverse experience provides Summer with a deep understanding of the daily realities, challenges, and triumphs that Stafford County educators experience across different buildings and roles.

Summer’s core belief is that educator working conditions are student learning conditions, she stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the SEA executive board to ensure staff have a seat at the table in every district decision through transparency and a road to collective bargaining.

Outside of the classroom, Summer lives in Fredericksburg. She is currently completing her doctoral program in Educational Policy & Leadership at the University of Florida. In her free time, she enjoys reading and training her Havanese dog, Monster.
